Why not check out these sites (you can do it together or separately) for advice on the many difficult issues teens are faced with today. Now, more than ever, teenagers need a place to go where they can feel safe discussing their questions, problems and issues.

Has on-line advice geared to teenagers in a Q&A format. Provides an e-mail form to send letters to "Ask Donna" who responds on the web-page.

Has advice message boards for posting problems and getting advice on how to handle them in a variety of areas, including pets, dating, friends, games, sports, fashion and beauty.

This website provides a toll-free number for teenagers in crises and their parents. It operates a confidential hotline for runaway youth, teens in crisis, and concerned friends and family members. All services are free and available 24 hours every day. The website has online tips, information for teens and parents and also an e-mail form.

Go Ask Alice
Operated by the experts at the Columbia University Health education program provides an on-line form for asking questions in the areas of relationships, sexual health, sexuality, emotional health, fitness and nutrition, alcohol, nicotine and other drugs, and general health. Extensive postings of advice in response to other questions.

The Samaritans
A charitable organization which provides free confidential emotional support via e-mail to any person who is suicidal or despairing. This service is provided 24 hours every day by trained volunteers, and relies upon public donations.
